Anderson, Kathleen
A love for color and the desire to express and share the beauty around us is the basis for Kathleen’s watercolors. After a career on the East Coast that was not art-related, Kathleen returned to Kansas to pursue her real interest—painting in oil and watercolor. Her subject matter includes architecture, landscapes, seascapes, flowers and animals.Kathleen has a degree in education. She has studied watercolor with Frank Webb, Barbara Nechis, Toni VanHasselt, Ken Hosmer, Eric Wiegardt and Skip Lawrence. She is a member of the Lawrence Art Guild and the Greater Kansas City Art Association. Her work hangs in private and corporate collections.
