From an early age, Jim Clements has been passionate about drawing and painting. He admits that he has no problem finding a variety of subject matter. “God’s beauty is all around us, and the endless opportunities He’s provided us as artists are staggering. When I see all the unique people in unique situations around me every day, it’s exciting to think of the prospects for my next work.” Jim is a member of the Portrait Society of America, Oil Painters of America, Kansas Academy of Oil Painters and American Plains Artists. He has attended a number of demonstrations and workshops by notable painters. He was one of only a few artists accepted to study with internationally recognized painter Morgan Weistling. He also participated in a workshop with Bruce Green and Martin Grelle, who are Western artists considered to be among today’s best talent. He works every day in his studio in El Dorado, Kan.
