Frisbie, Rick
Artist Rick FrisbieRick Frisbie has lived primarily in Kansas but also has resided in Massachusetts, New Jersey, Colorado and Germany. He has been involved in the arts most of his life. Rick majored in vocal education at Bethany College in Lindsborg, Kan., and has degrees from Iliff School of Theology in Denver and Drew University in Madison, N. J.

Working exclusively in oil, Rick finds painting exciting, challenging and exhilarating. Portraits of his immigrant friends, plein air landscapes, old mills and elevators and still life often find their way onto his canvases. Rick has received several honors as an artist, and his paintings now hang in Kansas, California, Colorado and Wyoming. He considers it a privilege to paint and to share his vision with others. He and his wife Angie live in Salina, Kan., and have two sons and four grandchildren. In addition to his art career,Rick is involved in several business ventures and teaches English to new
immigrants.
