Stallings, Wanda
For Wanda Stallings, creating and enjoying the visual arts have been lifelong passions. Throughout her life—from childhood, to raising a family, to attaining B.S. and M.S. degrees, to teaching for 29 years—Wanda feels that art has been a wonderfully useful tool for her. Since retiring from education, Wanda has had time to study with some widely recognized watercolor instructors, including Frank Webb, Judi Betts, Don Andres, Ken Hosmer and others. Her work has won awards and been exhibited in major exhibitions including the Watercolor West (California); Transparent Society of America (Illinois), Animal Art, School of Veterinary Medicine (Louisiana); Rocky Mountain National and Pikes Peak International (Colorado). She is a member of the Kansas Watercolor Society, Watercolor West and Transparent Watercolor Society of America. Her work is included in private and corporate collections throughout the United States and Mexico.
