Young, Michael
Michael Young has been a professional artist since 1972, working in many phases of realism with successful careers in both fine and commercial art. He has studied and worked in New York, Dallas and Kansas City and has had numerous one-man shows from New York to Beverly Hills. Calif. Credits include dozens of original Serigraphs, Lithographs, prints, posters and puzzles for publishing houses in New York, Boston and Dallas. Since 2000, he has been primarily a muralist and commission artist in and around the Kansas City area with a page in the new “Kansas Murals” book. Michael also has written and illustrated two books, “Houses on Parade” and “Phobia’s, Art Imitating Life.” He has completed commissions for corporate clients such as Ace Hardware, Bally’s Casino, Atlantic City, Chevron Aviation, I-HOP, McDonald’s, GEHA and many more.
